Hello fellow FCF members and Royal Rangers,

It is an honor to have been appointed the FCF President of the Kit Carson Chapter. I love FCF and want to see this ministry of Royal Rangers be used to expand the KIngdom of Heaven

I would like to announce the Grag Smith has accepted the position of Chapter Scribe. So he will be the one collecting registrations for camps and sending out announcements and all sorts of fine things.

I am excited about 2009 and FCF in the Rocky Mountain District. First I would like to announce that there is a change regarding joining FCF. We are going to offer the opportunity twice this year. As normal we will have the Frontiersman adventure at Trace the weekend of June 5th,- 7th. It will start at 12:00 noon sharp.  I will be providing a form that will be required to be filled out and sent to Greg Smith so we know how many will be attending. Then we will also be having a Frontier Adventure at District Camp. Again this will start at 12:00 noon on Thursday July 23rd.

Another form is now required for FCF camps. This is very similar to the registration form used for District Campout. It is needed for insurance purposes. Anyone that is 18 years old or Older must have the pastors consent form signed by their pastor. NO EXCEPTIONS.  Hey this includes me as well.

Ok enough of the administrative junk.

I am hoping that Trace will have a different flavor this year. The goal is for Trace to provide not only a competitive environment, but also a learning environment and help others in achieving the next level of advancement in FCF.  As details are finalized, we will be communicating to the chapter and the District of what is going on.  If you have some ideas please send them to me in an email.

To save folks some time, we are already looking at a different location, we may end up back in South Park, but we may not. I am looking for a place that has some water and where we could hold trace every year.  I already realize I cannot please everyone, so I will live with that, and attempt to find a great location.

Some of the competitions are going to be a little different this year. Stay tuned, it will be fun.

In order to communicate effectively, I need to build a good distribution list for FCF. If you are a member of FCF could you please send me the following information:

Name (your real one)

Address

Email Address

Phone Number

FCF Name

Year you joined FCF

Level within FCF  (Frontiersmen, Buckskin or Wilderness)

Also, Something we are needing is your Trappers Brigade points.

In the past we have been a 5 star chapter because of our service projects. Let's continue with these and send the forms to me for now, Next year they will go to Greg.

Please send forms to:

Randy Timmerman
