February 2010
2010 will be a busy year for the Kit Carson Chapter. We are attempting to communicate the information regarding events and FCF. A reminder that all forms for FCF will be on the District Website at www.rmdrr.org.
In 2009, the FCF staff made a policy change regarding dues. It was decided to go to an offering base rather than a set fee to be a member of the Kit Carson Chapter. We believe this to be a better policy. We did not meet the previous financial amount regarding membership, so I am encouraging you to assist with the finances of the Kit Carson Chapter by providing an offering with your 2010 membership form.
Why do we need a membership form? The National FCF Office requires that we have a good accounting of our members in order to show the health of a Chapter. By the way, we are a healthy chapter. We have the membership form on the website, and I ask that you bring a printed copy of it to Leaders Seminar, or mail it to the Chapter Scribe.
In 2010 we will also have some pre-registration discounts for Trace. Planning is an important part of this event since we are using private property and requiring sanitary facilities. Once the Trace-Registration form is available, fill out the online form, print a copy and send in your money with the form. If you bring the form with the money to Trace, you will not receive the discounted fee.
