Merit Camps
A Merit Camp is a single-day event where Rangers (typically Discovery Rangers and Adventure Rangers) can earn a merit in a day. There have been various of these held and they are always a lot of fun for everyone involved. It's a great way for boys to earn the merits on the Trail of the Grizzly so they can join FCF.

- Prerequisites are Rope Craft Merit & Lashing Merit. (recommend you also review your knots & lashing prior to this day). - To complete this merit, the boys will be building a rope bridge and towers. They will need to know their knots and lashing to build these projects. We will not have time to teach the boys their knots and lashing, so it is important they review these skills prior to the Merit Day. There will be a sign-up sheet in the office. We anticipate completing the projects by 3:00 PM. In the event (though unlikely) that we finish earlier, please provide a phone number in which parents can be reached.
