Daran Lemon
Biographical Information
Daran serves as the Network Director for Chi Alpha Utah with a mission to plant a healthy Chi Alpha fellowship on every campus in Utah. Alongside his wife, Noreen, they are passionately raising up a generation of disciple-makers.
After serving in the local church for 13 plus years, the Lord began to impress upon them the need for missionaries on the strategic mission field of colleges and universities. In 2009 they began their Assemblies of God U.S. Missions career initially as Missionary Associates then in 2011, as commissioned Nationally Appointed U.S. Missionaries. The mission was to re-pioneer Chi Alpha in Utah. In 2012, they planted Chi Alpha at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. In 2016 Chi Alpha was re-planted at the University of Utah. Since that time they have seen students become missionaries on both the local campus and around the world.
Daran’s formative growing up years were in the suburbs of Salt Lake. Noreen grew up in a military family in Virginia. God brought them together at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO in 1994 while on a traveling drama team ministry. They have lived in Utah since 2012 with their four children.
