We love our Rocky Mountain Ministry Network missionaries and provide the following services to Assemblies of God US and World missionaries credentialed with the Network:

Missions Awareness

• Leading Missions Course. The Network produced and offers two different educational courses for lead pastors. The first is a four-week online course entitled, “Leading Missions” and is available on our Learning Management System at this link. The second is a one-session version that is part of the Crabtree School of Lead Pastors at this link.
• Book: Global Missions. Leading with Intentionality, Effectiveness, and Balance. Superintendent Roncone and Mark Renfroe coauthored a paperback book specifically for Lead Pastors on how to provide missions exposure, partnerships, and opportunities to the church God has entrusted to their care. This book offers practical coaching to help pastors lead with intentionality, effectiveness, and balance. This book is available at this link.

• Plans, finances, and hosts a US missions after-party at Network Council.
• Plans, finances, and hosts a World Missions after-party at Network Council.
• Maintains a web page specifically dedicated to missions.
• Publishes and syndicates mission updates in the Network’s monthly e-zine entitled “RMMN Connection” which includes pictures, missionary stories, mission trip reports, and notifications.
• Plans, promotes, and reports on a Network-wide missions trip.
• Promotes Speed the Light giving opportunities.
• Promotes BGMC giving opportunities.
• Promotes One-a-Week giving opportunities.
• Promotes Light for the Lost giving opportunities.
• Promotes Royal Ranger giving opportunities.
• Schedules RMMN missionaries to speak in Network staff Zoom meetings to introduce them to office staff, receive ministry reports, and pray over their needs.
• Maintains updated Excel reports of all the churches and their contact info and provides it to RMMN missionaries upon request.
• Hosts a missions Immersive experience at Kids Camp which involves the following:
• Children are asked to carry water to learn that not everyone has access to clean water.
• Children are asked to try and read a Bible written in Chinese to make them aware that not all kids around the world have access to the Bible in their language.
• Children taste a variety of foods to make them aware that not all kids have the ability to eat three meals a day.
• Sponsors an annual “Bike for Missions” where bicyclists team up to raise money and bring awareness of missions by mobilizing family and friends to pledge money to each bicyclist who finishes the ride. The rides are usually around 100 miles and raise awareness and funding to bring food to the hungry, clean water to those without it, and vehicles for our missionaries.
• Facilitates several communication platforms to help RMMN missionaries stay connected with churches and pastors. These include:
• Facebook page. Administrates the private RMMN minister’s Facebook page and sends invitations to all our missionaries so they can post stories, needs, and prayer requests.
• Texting service. Maintains a texting service to keep our RMMN missionaries aware of Network happenings, opportunities to connect, and emergency calls to prayer.
• RMMN Connection. Publishes a bi-weekly digital newsletter to keep our RMMN missionaries connected and allows our Network missions director to communicate relevant stories to help bring mission’s awareness to our pastors and churches.

Financial Support

• Employs a part-time World Missions director to help process approvals for missionary reports, transfers, budget adjustments, references, and changes to appointments.
• Employs a part-time US Missions director to help process approvals for missionary reports, transfers, budget adjustments, references, and changes to appointments.
• Coordinates missions education and fundraising among AG children in Colorado and Utah to fund approved missionary requests. The 2023 BGMC giving was $148,163.
• Coordinates missions education and fundraising among AG youth in Colorado and Utah to purchase cars for approved RMMN missionaries. The 2023 Speed the Light giving was $293,004.
• Coordinates mission education and fundraising among AG men in Colorado and Utah to finance mission literature for RMMN missionaries. The 2023 Light for the Lost giving was $34,034.60.
• Coordinates mission education and fundraising among AG women in Colorado and Utah to support RMMN missionaries. The 2023 One-a-Week giving was $22,651.26. This fund provides Christmas gifts for fully appointed missionaries and other missionaries when funds are available, a $1,000 gift to World missionaries when they come home for furlough, $1,500–$2,500 when World missionaries go to the field, special project funding when needed and approved, and annual financial gifts to Teen Challenge and Sarah’s Home.
• Coordinates mission education and fundraising among AG boys in Colorado and Utah to finance projects for missionaries. The 2023 Royal Ranger giving was $3,100.
• Maintains and finances a two-story single-family home with three (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, and a double car garage missions home in Colorado Springs to provide a place for missionaries to live while on furlough.

Logistical, Administrative, and Prayer Support

• A member of the Superintendent’s office reads all the missions reports turned into our office and prays for every single prayer request given.
• Maintains and updates the missionary contact information to facilitate interaction between ministers, churches, and missionaries.
• The Superintendent provides a two-hour window each week to meet with any RMMN missionary requesting a meeting.
• Plans, coordinates, and facilitates missionary table displays at Network Council for RMMN pastors and ministers to be able to interact with missionaries.
• Invests several thousands of dollars each year to purchase a subscription to be able to pull detailed demographic information on communities targeted by US missionaries and church planters.
• Processes certified, licensed, and ordained applications and annual renewals for missionaries.
• Facilitates monthly forms associated with new missionaries, budget approval, or donations.
• Processes applications, forms, and recommendations and interviews for candidate missionaries.
• Processes agreements from out-of-network missionaries.
• Assists individual RMMN missionaries with processing annual GC credential renewals and advancements.
• Provides giving statements to missionaries for their contribution activity and giving obligations to RMMN and General Council.
• Posts, processes, and reports RMMN department fundraising activities related to US and World missions.
